with "technical issues" that could clearly be resolved if one would simply RTFS!! But, then again, if everyone read the f****ng screen, I wouldn't have a job, now would I? (Not this job anyway!)After I sent off the email shown in my previous post, I was taken quite off guard by the reply I received only one day later! Let's see, how it go?...
Dear Mr. Singh,Wha-wha-whaaaaat?!??! I had to read that three times before it sunk in! I immediately called my friend who has stood by me from day one of my Graduate program even through all the toil and strife. She did not pick up, so read it out loud into her voicemail. Yes, that is just how excited I was! I called my mother next and thanked her for teaching me to be patient, polite, and professional at all times, even when you would rather choke someone.
I have reviewed your situation once again, and based on the concerns you raise in your email and your patience, promptness and professionalism in addressing each of the many modifications in your academic situation, I propose rescinding my decision to deny your petition to waive the seven-year limit for EDUC 603, 605 and 607. I have spoken with Associate Dean E and she agrees with my decision. My staff will prepare a new waiver that I will approve. You will receive your copy in the mail. I wish you the best as you move forward in your professional life with all of the benefits of having earned a master's degree. If you have questions, please contact me.
Sincerely, Dean K
I called my best friend and said "hellyeahmuthafuckathatswhati'mtalkiningaboutbeyaoch!"
Of course, being the

So there you have it my friends. Proof that the "high-road" actually does work out every now and then. (Or could this perhaps be the results of a carefully executed, clandestine and strategic plan from yours truly that I may or may not reveal in the weeks to come?) For now I'll accept "patience, promptness and professionalism". Of course, the email came only a few days before classes, one week after refiling a grad check, and one day after sending in a Deferement Form for my student loans.
After the excitement settled down I realized that with a refiled grad check and paid up fees, what's to stop me from taking Yoga and Photoshop III, *and* putting of Student Loan payments for a few months?
Oh yeah- Karma baby, karma! I guess I can't push it, now can I? Which reminds me- I've got to go drop a class!
Peace and Namaste! [ss]
